Know your SBA options.
Standard SBA 7(a) loans generally have a $5 million maximum. Standard 504 financing has a $5 million maximum SBA loan amount, with certain eligible manufacturing or energy projects up to $5.5 million. Eligible borrowers may access up to $10 million in combined 7(a) and 504 financing under the policy effective July 4, 2026. This is not a single $10 million 7(a) loan.
